Turns out that provocative pop super star and increasingly messy mommy Christina Aguilera not only wanted out of her marriage to music executive Jordan Bratman but she also wants out of the Beverly Hills family homestead they bought back in 2007 during happier times; Gossip juggernaut TMZ revealed earlier today that Miz Aguilera quietly floated her house on the market with an asking price of $13,500,000.
Naturally Your Mama did a little investigation of our own and a Beverly Hills real insider we'll call Ann A. Conda confirmed that the property is indeed on pocket listed at $13,500,000 just as the folks at TMZ reported. Miss Conda also told us that the house has actually been shopped around off-market for the last few months.
Back in the summer of 2007, when their relationship was still comin' up roses, Missus and ex-Mister Aguilera paid $11,500,000 for the 11,571 square foot mansion of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne and his ambitious wife Sharon. It was a quite curious purchase to be sure. The Osbourne clan filmed their famous and popular but kind of icky reality show The Osbournes inside the walls of the gated mini-estate and as a result bus loads of tourists crawl by the 6 bedroom and 10 bathroom house every damn day of the week. Some moe-ron fans of Mister Osbourne have even been known to hop up and try to peer over the security wall at the front of the property.
Miz Aguilera hasn't had the best real estate luck the last few years. In April of 2003 she spent $5,000,000 to acquire sleek Steve Hermann-designed digs high above the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles.
Shortly after buying the Bev Hills mansion she now no longer wants, she listed her bachelorette pad in the Bird Streets with an asking price of $7,995,000. Nearly three years later, several de- and re-listings of the property and a number of price chops, the residence remains on the market for $5,995,000. It's not known–at least by Your Mama–if Miss Aguilera will return to her bachelorette nest that current listing information shows measures approximately 6,500 square feet and includes 4 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, living and dining rooms, a screening lounge with wet bar, a 25 foot waterfall, and panoramic city lights views.
